The music industry lost a knowledgeable man when you had to retire, thanks Whitey for sharing.

I love music all kinds except rap, that's crap. I went thru the Flutaphone, harmonica, jew's harp phase & now can't do much with the waxed paper & comb

Anybody ever hear Jeff Chandler, Decca 78, Thats all she is waiting to hear & my most favorite Lamplight? Oh boy did I ever slobber over him. What a voice, what a hunk. Then Esther Williams said he was a cross dresser. Hey I don't care, still floats my boat.

Well Prof,

You did it again. I don't need to tell you the power of those stories. I felt like I fell asleep and woke up in a strange place with all that going on around me, like I was literally transported to those places in those times. You could almost smell the gym sweat, cigar smoke, biker body odor and dry cleaning fluid. It is the only book I've ever read that when I picked it up and started reading, it was like a pair of arms reached out and grabbed me by my bicepts and shook the crap out of me.
To say well done would clearly be an understatement.

Ditto, Dave,

This collection of short stories may become one of JLB's best selling works.

It's the sort of book that creative writing teachers in collitch could use for class assignments.

Best,
